Welcome to RoofQuote.co.nz. By submitting a quote request through our platform, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully to understand your rights and responsibilities. 

 

  1. Acceptance of Terms

By using RoofQuote.co.nz to submit a quote request, you agree to these Terms and Conditions, including any updates or modifications. Continued use of the platform constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms and Conditions. 

 

  1. Submitting a Quote Request

2.1 Accurate Information: 

  • You agree to provide accurate and complete information when submitting a quote request. This includes, but is not limited to, your contact details and a description of the work required. 

2.2 Verification Process: 

  • Quote requests submitted through the platform will undergo a verification process, which may include a phone call or email from RoofQuote.co.nz to verify the information provided. 
  • The purpose of verification is to ensure the quote request is relevant and actionable for the tradespeople on the platform. 

 

  1. Quote Request Handling and Distribution

3.1 Quote Request Assignment: 

  • Once verified your quote request will be distributed to relevant tradespeople registered on the platform. 

3.2 No Guarantee of Acceptance: 

  • Submission of a quote request does not guarantee acceptance by any tradesperson. It represents an opportunity for tradespeople to quote for your job. 

3.3 Multiple Tradespeople: 

  • Your quote request may be shared with multiple tradespeople, who may compete for the opportunity to provide their services. 

 

  1. Responsibilities of RoofQuote.co.nz

4.1 Verification: 

  • RoofQuote.co.nz will make reasonable efforts to verify leads to ensure they meet the minimum requirements for tradespeople to follow up. 

4.2 Qualified Tradespeople: 

  • While RoofQuote.co.nz connects you with tradespeople, we do not endorse, guarantee, or take responsibility for the quality, reliability, or suitability of any tradesperson or their services. 

 

  1. Responsibilities of the Customer

5.1 Timely Communication: 

  • You agree to respond promptly to any follow-up communication from RoofQuote.co.nz or the tradespeople regarding your submitted quote request. 

5.2 Job Agreements: 

  • Any agreements for work or services are solely between you and the tradesperson. RoofQuote.co.nz is not a party to such agreements. 

5.3 Independent Decision-Making: 

  • You are responsible for independently evaluating the quotes or proposals provided by tradespeople and making your own decisions regarding who to hire. 

 

  1. Limitations of Liability

6.1 Quote Accuracy: 

  • RoofQuote.co.nz is not responsible for any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in the information you provide during your request to recieve a quote. 

6.2 Tradesperson Performance: 

  • RoofQuote.co.nz is not liable for any disputes, damages, or issues arising from work performed by tradespeople connected through the platform. 

6.3 Platform Availability: 

  • While we strive to maintain uninterrupted access to RoofQuote.co.nz, we do not guarantee continuous availability and will not be held responsible for any disruptions. 

 

  1. Privacy and Data Use

7.1 Data Collection: 

  • By submitting a quote request, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information as outlined in our Privacy Policy. 

7.2 Sharing Information: 

  • Your contact details and job description will be shared with relevant tradespeople for the purpose of quoting on your job. 

 

  1. Changes to Terms and Conditions

RoofQuote.co.nz reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updates will be posted on the website, and continued use of the platform constitutes your acceptance of the changes. 

 

  1. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with New Zealand law.
