Welcome to RoofQuote.co.nz. By submitting a lead quote request through our platform, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully to understand your rights and responsibilities.
- Acceptance of Terms
By using RoofQuote.co.nz to submit a lead quote request, you agree to these Terms and Conditions, including any updates or modifications. Continued use of the platform constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms and Conditions.
- Account Registration and Credit Loading
2.1 Opening Balance: To activate your account and begin receiving quote requests, you are required to load credit to your account as an opening balance.
2.2 Automatic Credit Management: By registering a credit card on the platform, you authorize RoofQuote to automatically top up your account to ensure it remains in credit. The system will deduct the cost of each lead from your account balance.
2.3 Responsibility for Account Credit:
- You are solely responsible for ensuring your account remains in credit.
- If your credit card is declined, runs out of funds, or otherwise fails, you accept full responsibility for rectifying the issue immediately.
- Accounts without sufficient credit will not have access to unpaid leads.
- Quote Request Management
3.1 Qualified Quote Request:
- RoofQuote delivers leads that have been qualified to the best of its ability.
- By receiving alead and being charged the lead fee, you accept the lead as valid.
3.2 Responsibility for Quote Request Follow-Up:
- You are fully responsible for following up on any leads provided to your dashboard.
- You acknowledge that any lead represents an opportunity to quote for a job, which may involve competition with other tradespeople on the platform.
- Fees and Payments
4.1 Per Quote Request Fee: Each lead delivered to your dashboard will incur a pre-agreed fee, which will be deducted from your account balance.
4.2 Defaulting on Payments:
- If your account lacks sufficient credit to cover lead fees, RoofQuote reserves the right to suspend your access to quote requests until your account is replenished.
- Repeated payment defaults (e.g., declined credit card transactions) will trigger a Three-Strike Process (see Section 5).
4.3 Refund Policy: Lead fees are non-refundable, as leads are qualified to the best of RoofQuote’s ability.
- Three-Strike Process for Payment Defaults
5.1 Warnings:
- If your account defaults on payments, RoofQuote will issue a warning.
- After three warnings, RoofQuote reserves the right to permanently remove you from the platform.
5.2 Banning from the Platform:
- Users who reach three strikes will be banned from using RoofQuote’s services.
- Banned accounts will forfeit any remaining credit balance.
- Platform Access and Availability
6.1 No Guarantee of Quote Request Success: RoofQuote provides leads as opportunities, not guarantees of work. Acceptance of a lead fee does not ensure you will secure the job.
6.2 System Maintenance:
- RoofQuote may occasionally perform maintenance, resulting in temporary downtime.
- You acknowledge and accept that such interruptions are necessary for platform improvements.
- Code of Conduct
7.1 Professionalism:
- You agree to act professionally and ethically when dealing with customers obtained through RoofQuote.
7.2 Compliance with Laws: You are responsible for complying with all applicable laws and regulations related to your trade and business activities.
- Termination of Account
8.1 Voluntary Termination: You may request to terminate your account at any time. Any unused balance in your account will not be refunded.
8.2 Termination by RoofQuote: RoofQuote reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms and Conditions, including non-payment, misuse of the platform, or unprofessional behavior.
- Limitation of Liability
9.1 No Liability for Job Outcomes: RoofQuote is not responsible for the outcome of any quote request or job and provides no guarantees regarding the quality or quantity of leads.
9.2 Platform Errors: RoofQuote will not be held liable for any system errors, bugs, or issues affecting your account or access to leads.
- Privacy Policy
Your use of the platform is also governed by RoofQuote’s Privacy Policy, which outlines how your data is collected, used, and protected.
- Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes arising under these terms will be resolved in accordance with New Zealand law.
